Responsibilities
(Global Information Technology, Inc has opening in South Plainfield, NJ) Azure DevOps Engineer: Troubleshoot and mitigate Azure SQL Database connectivity issues, perform root cause analysis, perform bug fixes, and implement security measures. Perform data migration, create Azure Data Factory workflows for migration, and set up and configure Azure SQL Database. Optimize Azure SQL Database performance to reduce application response time. Gather requirements, perform data analysis, troubleshoot analyzed data, resolve data platform issues, and ensure database availability meets service-level agreement. Build, maintain, and analyze Power BI reports. Create troubleshooting guides, automate operational tasks, and perform database maintenance and standard procedures. Utilize Python, PowerShell script, and T-SQL. Will work in unanticipated locations. Requires Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related and 1 year experience or Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related and 5 years progressive experience.
